Buff Stoneware is our most popular clay because it is so versatile in both use and finish!
It's a general purpose clay with a fireclay-based stoneware body making it strong and reliable.
Buff Stoneware Clay throws well and turns easily and therefore can be used for small plates right through to large pots and ornate carved pieces.
Firing range 1120°C-1270°C, making it suitable for earthenware or stoneware work.
Contains 10% sand grog.
