Description
The Wind Turbine Kit is a working model of a real wind turbine.
This interactive set shows how wind power can be harnessed to generate electricity, either indoors with a fan or outdoors in the wind. Assembled in minutes, it can be used at all stages of education from primary school to university level to learn about renewable energy.
Power the electric motor, buzzer and LED modules
Experiment with two, three or six blades, adjust blade angles, and measure output on the voltmeter
Explore the relationship between gearing and power output with three gear ratios
Automatically turns to face into the wind direction
Durable, with a storage case to keep components organised and protected
